One of the most iconic monuments of Jaipur, the Hawa Mahal is often seen from the outside when it is a great architectural marvel on the inside.

As the name suggests Hawa Mahal of the Palace of wind, has several small windows that let air pass inside keeping the building cool.

The beauty of this comes from its intelligent design and is an ode to the architecture of the ear in which it was built.

I have seen the Hawa Mahal several times but always stop to take a picture in spite of the fact that I have many images of this monument.
