A city that wears its sobriquet of Garden city with pride, April sees in it all its colourful glory.

This is the season when the city of Bengaluru is most pretty as there are several species of flowers that bloom now.

These include:

Pink Poui species
Tabebuia argentea or The Tree of Gold
Jacaranda
Copper Pod

This year I have seen more flowering trees that any others and for the first time I am happy to see that many others have to.

  1. Described beautifully about these flowers. Given useful information about origin, botanical name, etc.
    Photographs are attractive, (especially JACARANDA, which can be used for greetings card).
