World of Ek is a platform by Ektaa R Kapoor that is crafted in India and celebrates Indian roots and is made with materials that are good for you.
When I was asked to review the products of World of Ek, I was attracted by the fact that it celebrates the handlooms and handicrafts of India. Interesting the website has an extensive collection of Home Linen including Bedsheet Sets, Cushion Covers, Table Linens, Dohars and Curtains. There is a lot for your Dining space with Plates, Bowls and Mugs. And as far as Home Decor is concerned there is an extensive collection of Blue Pottery, Metal Platters, Lanterns, Wooden Platters, Wooden Bowls and Vases.
My first pick was this Beige Bagh Journal Double Bedsheet Set in pure cotton, with floral patterns in a natural and subtle colour palette. The double bedsheet has a dimension of 270cm X 230cm and has a 120 Thread Count and comes with two pillow covers. The bedsheet has hand block prints with natural dyes and as been handcrafted making it ethical and sustainable, all values that matter the most to me. Being a lover of flowers the motifs on this bedsheet are great and evoke a sense of positivity and vibrancy. The packaging was lovely too with a cloth bag.

As I was sifting through the website, my next pick was this Handcrafted Elegant Yellow ‘Blue Pottery’ Decorative Vase. Blue Pottery is a traditional craft that has its origins in the Turko-Persian and is most commonly seen in Jaipur, Rajasthan where it has been practiced since the 19th century. The craft involves moulding the clay on a potter’s wheel, followed by moulding and firing. Specifically all of Ek’s blue pottery products are created by Giridhar Family of Jaipur who have been preserving this unique craft for years. Specifically this vase is made in ceramic and is handcrafted and has a dimension of 10.6cm X Width- 10.6cm X 25.4cm, which makes it great to hold flowers or event plants.
