Eid the time to celebrate with friends and family and food is an intrinsic part of the celebrations.

Eid is all about traditional food and Hyderabad is the center of Eid festivities. With the end of the fasting period of Ramadan, Eid is all about food. The Muslim community throughout the world is getting ready to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr as the Holy Month of Ramadan draws to a close. Eid commemorates the completion of Ramadan’s month-long period of Roza (fasting).

Sharbats, a wide array of succulent kebabs, the quintessential baida roti with minced meat, the traditional haleem, all-time favourite biriyani cooked in a mélange of flavours, delicately scented Phirni, the exquisite Khurja and Sheer Kurma are some traditional dishes. Read other Eid recipes here.
