Looking beyond its sun kissed beaches and churches Goa is slowly but surely emerging as a wellness destination in its own right

Incidentally the state is also home to several spice plantations that have significant medicinal use. For instance did you know that curry leaves help in lowering cholesterol and the local cloves helps cure tooth aches, gum problem and stomach ailments? Well it is not just these, but several medicinal herbs that are used in various treatments. The state is also betting big on Ayurveda and Naturopathy treatments that treats the body, mind and soul in a holistic way. Special retreats and wellness camps are conducted by the hospitals in the State, especially for international tourists who fly in from various countries seeking wellness in Goa.
