On India’s 75th Independence Day here are some sights that you can see for yourself.

Having read history books as school students, all of us know of how the freedom movement panned out through the length and breadth of the country. However, it is when you visit some of these places that you can best appreciate the cost of independence and why it is priceless. We list eight of the sights that have been a mute witness to the Independence Movement.
