Farmer couple Rangegowda and Nagaveni in Tiptur village in Karnataka were deep in debt and to make matters worse their agricultural loan was not waived off. To make ends meet he was on the verge of selling off his prized cows, when he met officers from Akshayakalpa.
Then started a reversal of his fortunes. His collaboration with Akshayakalpa started in 2013 when he had five cows with a combined production of 50 litres of milk per day. The Akshayakalpa team hand-held Rangegowda and enabled him to employ scientific methods to dairying.
