Some of the vegetarian fare I sampled recently at Glass, a modern Indian restaurant and bar curated by Chef Abhijit Saha at Brigade Group owned Holiday Inn Bengaluru Racecourse. The restaurant is based on an indoor garden setting concept and there is traditional cuisine from different regions of India served in a contemporary manner. Known to work magic with his fingers, Chef Saha has come up with an interesting selection of food here. Sample this: Makki Ki Roti & Sarson Ka Saag Tostadas, Avocado and Khakra, Mock Meat Galauti Kebab with Mint chutney, Mango Pickle & Pomegranate Stuffed Curd Rice Arancini, Father Michael's Burrata Coriander cashew pesto, Makki Ki Raab Roasted corn and popcorn soup, Signature Appam with Stew Espuma, Rendition of Elaneer Payasam and a novel take on rasmalai.

Had the honour of sampling a wonderful menu create

Had the honour of sampling a wonderful menu created by the third year undergraduate students of the Institute of Hotel Management, Bengaluru on the invite of Dean @vasundaradharmaraaj. The food was an eclectic buffet that the students made with much dedication and sincerity. I sampled the vegetarian fare that included a creamy broccoli soup, vegetable tarts, tofu and vegetable curry, herb rice, pulav, raita, Shahi korma and more. Desserts included delightful cupcakes, Christmas cookies and churros. The entire menu that also included several non vegetarian options was varied and had something for everyone. Had a good time interacting with the Staff and students. And good food needs #nofilter. Check my stories too. A wonderful plum cake made by the students.

A new sit down dining experience at The Courtyard in Bengaluru. I tried the vegetarian fare and a mocktail. The food images include Congress Cornetto, with carrot peanut butter, pickled onions and Congress groundnuts, Barley Jowar Salad, Begum's Baked Brie, Raj Kachori and Squash Sansav.

This is a Seasonal collaboration between Stranger & Sons Gin and award winning, Bombay based restaurant and bar - The Bombay Canteen, Perry Road Peru is the first of its kind in India - a single-batch, limited edition distilled cocktail. An exclusive sit-down dinner with live music, a delicious culinary offering and cocktails entwined with the nostalgia-inspired flavours of Bombay.

The Utsav Thaali at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru is all about celebratory grandeur. The thali is a representation of India’s culinary map on a plate. This October and November, Shangri-La Bengaluru is marking Shangri-La Group’s 50th anniversary with a decadent and chocolaty afternoon tea. The expert chefs at Shangri-La Bengaluru have specially curated a celebratory menu inspired by the Chocolate Art Series Wall at Shangri-La Singapore. With over 1000 kilogrammes of chocolate and six months work, the Chocolate Art Series was unveiled in Singapore in April 2021.

Chocolat-Tea will be available at the Lobby Lounge daily between 12 p.m. – 6 p.m., featuring a fine selection of delicious Choquette, Chocolate Lemon Madeline, Grenade Pecan Mille-Feuille, Banana Caramel Bonbon, Chocolate Scones with Clotted Cream, Avocado Sushi, Charcoal Tuna Croissant, Jalapeno Arincini and more.

For an extra special touch, guests can indulge in refreshing drinks including Cranberry Bliss, Kiwi Lime Cooler, Coco Negroni and Cucumber Julep. You can also enjoy an array of tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
