Relationships often flounder because partners have unrealistic expectations that often are not met.

When we are in a relationship, we often pick up many unrealistic expectations from romantic movies and TV shows that try to show a perfect union between two people. However, the truth is, no relationship is perfect.

 A good relationship requires effort, hard work and dedication from both partners. The unrealistic expectation for relationships, often causes unpleasantness, arguments and chaos in a relationship. Here are some unrealistic relationship expectations you should avoid if you want to live happily with your partner:
Always romantic
Never notice anyone
There will never be an argument or disagreement
Everyone in your life will adore them
They will always understand your feelings.

Coexisting despite having ‘differences of opinion’ is the biggest green flag in any relationship. Relationships where you’re always expected or you expect your partner to always agree with you makes the equation superficial and the love ‘conditional’, at times. Such relationships lack depth and eventually fade off in time.
