The menu is simple and comprises some millet delicacies like Masala Dosa, Paddu, Bajji, Bonda and Millet Paysa. All of these items are made using millets as opposed to regular rice. The selection of starters is small and I recommend you try the cutlet that is soft and crunchy and absolutely delectable. It is served with a red tamarind and green mint chutney and salad that makes it a great way to start your meal here. There are also a range of hot beverages including Elaichi Malt, Choco Malt, Herbal Malt, Green Tea and Aralu Majjige. The Aralu Majjige is a clear winner and is made with sprouted ragi and methi seeds that are mixed with buttermilk giving you a refreshing drink that is welcome not just in summer but all year round. You can try a variety of millet rice including a special rice, curd rice and also try the Rajmudi rice. They also have a Pulliogare made with millets that is tasty and you never miss the rice one bit. If you are confused as to what to try, I suggest you try the Millet Thali where you are served two millet rotis, dal or sprouts curry, vegetable curry, green leaves chutney, vegetable raitha or vegetable salad, millet paysa, choice of millet rice, aralu majjige, papad and pickle. You can also try some fresh juices here like cucumber with mint, seasonal fruit and vegetable juices including a delectable carrot juice. Health watchers can also try the palak, tomato or mixed vegetable soups too. Started by Jyothi Madinur who had the single motive of wanting to serve healthy food courtesy her research on millets, this restaurant is unlike no other. Interestingly there is also a store where you can buy a range of food based products at the counter. There is also a shop in house here that retails a variety of products.
