The wildly popular word game Wordle, has a sweet love story angle to it and there are many other versions of the game online.

A random search on Google on ‘Wordle’ returned about 1,60,00,00,000 results in 0.48seconds. While you can play Wordle only once a day, there are many other versions that are now available.

Wordle is a word game where you need to guess a five-letter word. Once you guess a word – any random one to start with, the game tells you whether any of your letters are in the secret word (in yellow) and whether they are in the correct place (in green). You have six tries to guess the correct word. The site is simple – thankfully there are no ads or banners that distract you.

One of the versions, called Absurdle created by a pseudonymous coder called ‘qntm’, comes with a difficult twist. The game starts with a whopping 2315 possibilities and responds to each guess by showing incorrect alphabets in black, correct ones in the correct position in green and correct alphabets in the wrong position in yellow.

The idea is that you need to start narrowing your options and work out the correct word. While it sounds tough, there is no limit on the number of tries per game. Also, you can play Absurdle any number of times in a day.
