Ayatana Ooty is set amidst a huge expanse of lush tea gardens that makes it a one of its kind holiday experience.

Ooty is a destination that has always been a personal favourite primarily because it has been one of my trip to the hills.

Specifically, the blue Nilgiri mountains have always charmed me with their mystical charm. And hence a trip to Ooty is something that I always love to do. Driving from Bengaluru to Ooty is a scenic ride as it also passes through two national parks – Bandipur and Madhumalai.

The trip to Ooty usually always starts with a sighting of some kind of wildlife whether it is the spotted deer, peacocks or if lucky elephants. On this trip I was fortunate to see a family of three elephants.
