Cinco de Mayo is a yearly celebration held on May 5 to celebrate Mexico’s victory over the Second French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862 and to celebrate this occasion here is a recipe with a South Asian twist.

Wasabi Tacos is perfect appetizer which combines traditional Mexican flavors with Asian inspired ingredients. Chef Vikas Seth, Chef & Culinary Director, Embassy Leisure shares a recipe of this dish.

The tacos feature a Korean gochujang spiced water chestnut mix, topped with smashed avocado and tempura flakes, finished with drizzle of sharp wasabi crema. Overall, wasabi Tacos offers a unique and flavorful twist on traditional tacos that is both delicious and memorable!
