The non sticky formulation is an all round product for good hair and the best part is that it is based on the scientific principles of Ayurveda.
The first time I heard of ‘Onion Hair Oil’ I was a little taken aback probably due to the pungent smell of the vegetable. However when I was told that this was a best seller product of Alphavedic I decided to try it out.
The oil has a nice rose hue and is almost odourless (yes in spite of having onion extract). It feels light and airy and once you apply it on your hair it does not feel sticky nor does it leave any residue on your hands either.
The oil is 100%vegan, rich in antioxidants, paraben free, has no artificial colours, is cruelty free and chemical free. The key ingredients include Red Onion extracts, Argan Oil, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil, Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil, Castor Oil, Rose Oil, neem Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Amla Extracts, Hibiscus Extracts, Bhringraj Extracts, Mango Butter, Shea Butter and Isoamyl Laurate.
This oil has a host of benefits and promises to promote hair growth, prevent hair fall, scalp infections and dandruff and being rich in sulphur helps minimize hair breakage and thinning. Since onions have anti bacterial properties it helps fight scalp infections and associated hair loss issues. The brand is eco sensitive too and plants a tree for each purchase you make. So there are many reasons to try this one. After all destressing your tresses is something that must be priority!
Disclaimer: I received a sample of the Alphavedic Onion Hair Oil but all opinions expressed are my own.
