Diwali is a festival that is arguably amongst the most favourite of India and food is an integral part of the celebrations.
Changing times have meant that new age ingredients have replaced traditional ones. However, the ethos of the celebrations remains true to their origins.
As you will be making an extensive meal, it is a good idea that you choose recipes that can be prepared well in advance, and can be stored, reheated, and served. Remember the festival is a time to spend quality time with your family and loved ones rather than spending longer hours, cooking, and sweating in the hot kitchen.
