The need for effective waste management is something that can hardly be overemphasized as the world’s most populous country India is facing this issue.

Mounting garbage mounds are a common sight in India – across rural and urban cities. Waste is generated in millions of tonnes in the country but with no effective means for disposal and segregation there are huge landfills that are being created.

In this story I explored the solutions and ways to mitigate this issue. Also how waste can work wonders ecologically and economically.
