Women Safety in Hospitality

Spread the love

Hoteliers have several measures introduced to create a holistic and safe environment to ensure a seamless stay and work experience for women travellers. Over the last few years, these initiatives have been largely appreciated, not just by women guests, but everyone. The tailored focus and program for our women guests has increased the reliability and trust factor amongst these guests for us, resulting in repeated visits.

Within the hotel premises, all services catering to women guests, including room cleaning, restaurant assistance, and even security, are exclusively managed by our adept female staff. Our security personnel also include female employees, further enhancing the level of trust between women guests and our security team.

Training staff for handling single lady travellers involves a multi-step process aimed at ensuring a safe and personalized experience. Firstly, we carefully screen all arrivals to identify single lady travellers. Prior to their arrival, we proactively connect with these guests to understand their specific needs and preferences, enabling us to tailor services.

Most hotels enforce a policy where all direct services are exclusively provided by female staff, and the presence of female staff is mandatory for other services as well. This commitment ensures that our single lady travellers receive attentive and respectful assistance throughout their stay.

Angsana has been a host for many female-only groups and women travelling solo who choose our resort for the international spa treatments, and tranquil atmosphere. For single female travellers, they prioritize their privacy by not disclosing room numbers in front of other guests. In addition, a female staff member escorts them to their room and ensures they are allocated the nearest room to a surveillance camera.

Safety Measures

  • Enhanced Security Measures
  • 24/7 Concierge and Security Services
  • Privacy and Discretion
  • Wellness and Health Facilities
  • Transportation Assistance

The implementation of women-friendly measures is often driven by a desire to create a safe and welcoming environment for female travellers. Women may have specific concerns related to safety, privacy, and comfort while staying in hotels, especially when traveling alone. Recognizing and addressing these concerns is part of providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all guests.

These measures can contribute to building trust in the hotel’s brand and encourage repeat business. Positive feedback from female guests also attracts more customers, as word of mouth and online reviews play a significant role in shaping perceptions of the brand and the hotel.
