Radha Krishnan, President and founder, Detroit Engineered Products(DEP) has well over 30 years of experience working with and at leading Tier 1 Automotive companies as well as OEM and truly understands what it takes to create revolutionary solutions that the global automotive industry needs.
His passion for technology led him to pioneer MeshWorks, a proprietary CAE platform created by DEP which helps companies to reduce their product development time. Under his leadership, from its inception in 1998 in Troy, MI, Detroit Engineered Products (DEP) has rapidly grown and now has a global presence in Germany, Spain, Italy, France, India, China, Korea and Japan.
He has worked with some of the major engineering organizations like General Motors, EaSi, Tata Consulting Engineers, etc. Always enthusiastic about technology and engineering, Radha Krishnan still plays an active role in the development of DEP MeshWorks. He holds a Masters degree in Mechanical engineering from the University of Toledo, Ohio, USA. An IIT Madras graduate who grew up in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, Radha Krishnan built DEP from the ground up in Troy, Michigan, in 1998. Today, the company spans 8 countries and a strong R&D base in Chennai, India , supports major electric and autonomous vehicle programs worldwide.
