Security teams deal with hundreds of tools, thousands of vulnerabilities, an overwhelming deluge of risk signals, and an expanding attack surface. Our platform brings everything into one place, such as assets, vulnerabilities, risks, patches, threats, and helps them act fast, prioritizing what they need to focus on. Our company supports the world’s largest enterprises and government agencies. We serve over 10,000 customers worldwide, including 72% of the Forbes Global 50. Many of the biggest brands you know and rely on every day are secured by Qualys technology.

Qualys has always been about pushing the industry forward. When most vulnerability management companies weren’t even thinking about patching, we took a different path and pioneered integrated patch management. That decision was critical during the pandemic, when organizations suddenly needed a way to securely deploy patches across a remote workforce. Today, integrated patching is so impactful that in 2024 alone, global enterprises deployed over 110 million patches natively from our platform, a testament to the scale, trust and value it brings.

Our latest innovations like the Risk Operations Center (ROC) and TotalAI help organizations secure cloud environments, AI systems, and digital operations in a simpler, unified way. Qualys provides our customers with aggregated risk factors from over 70,000 vulnerability signatures and more than 25 sources of threat intelligence, achieving over 85% reduction in critical vulnerabilities. Customers benefit from what we call a “hacker’s-eye view” of their digital estate, enabling them to close potential pathways before adversaries can exploit them. We also leverage agentic AI to help organizations augment their security workforce with goal-oriented, task-specific digital workers that deliver outcomes rather than open-ended responses. Teams can employ out-of-the-box agents, such as a ransomware analyst, to perform a week’s worth of evidence gathering, prioritization, and remediation workflows under human oversight. At Qualys, the impact we create is straightforward; we make the digital journey safer for organizations around the world.

One key lesson I’ve learned is that the company is only as good as the people that make it up. When I took over as CEO, I recognized the opportunity to reset the culture, bring in fresh talent and instill values like empowerment and accountability. I believe that empowerment and accountability are two sides of the same coin. You need both in your employees – hiring people who are smarter, stronger, or more capable than their managers, giving them the freedom to bring fresh ideas, and holding them fully accountable for delivering results.

I believe we’re at an extraordinary moment for India and Indians across the world. Innovation is accelerating across fields like cybersecurity, AI, cloud technology, and this generation of talent has more opportunities than ever. If there’s one thing I encourage people to do, it’s to explore, experiment and not be afraid of starting small. Every big journey begins that way.

I built some of the early systems, worked closely with customers and led major product innovations. One of my proudest contributions is driving the creation of our vulnerability management solution, VMDR and strengthening our unified security platform.

I strongly believe in the power of collaboration and teamwork, which has been crucial in driving success at our company. By working closely with both internal teams and external partners, we deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

As we continue to grow and expand, my focus remains on providing a seamless experience for our customers through marketing efforts, dedicated support teams, and efficient operations. I understand the importance of delivering quality products and services that exceed customer expectations, which is why I am committed to constantly improving our processes and strategies.
