Starring Havish and Kavya Thapar in the lead roles, Nenu Ready features an impressive ensemble cast including veteran actors Brahmanandam and Murli Sharma in pivotal roles, alongside Vennela Kishore, Hari Teja, Rohini Noni, Rohan Roy, and several other talented actors. The film is directed by renowned filmmaker Trinadha Rao Nakkina known for crafting entertaining and engaging commercial films that beautifully celebrate love, family values, and heartfelt emotions. The film features a strong ensemble cast, including seasoned comic actors.

Here is what lead actor Havish Koneru has to say about the movie.

What I connected with most was his sense of responsibility. Like many youngsters, he wants to follow his own dreams, but he also deeply values his family and doesn’t want to disappoint them. That conflict is something most of us experience at some point in life. He’s not portrayed as a larger-than-life hero; he’s an ordinary young man who makes mistakes, learns from them, and keeps moving forward with optimism. I found that honesty very appealing. His relationships with his family and the light-hearted moments with the people around him make him feel genuine, and I think audiences will see someone they know or even themselves in him.

Trinadha Rao Nakkina garu has a unique ability to find entertainment in simple, everyday situations. From the beginning, he encouraged me to keep my performance natural instead of trying too hard to be funny or dramatic. He would often remind me that the humour should come from the character’s honesty rather than exaggerated expressions. That approach helped me discover a more relaxed style of acting. He also pushed me to trust the emotional moments instead of rushing through them. Working with him was a great learning experience because he knows exactly how to balance comedy, family emotions, and romance without losing the authenticity of the characters.

The audience may feel the scenes flow effortlessly, but a lot of preparation, teamwork, and trust went into making them entertaining.

The foundation of the humour was already there in the script. Trinadha Rao Nakkina garu writes situations that are naturally entertaining, so we never depended on random improvisation to create laughs. Having said that, when you work with experienced performers like Brahmanandam garu and Murli Sharma garu, spontaneous moments happen organically during rehearsals and takes. Sometimes a reaction, a pause, or a slight change in delivery would make a scene even better, and if it suited the story, the director happily retained it. So I would say the script gave us the structure, while the chemistry among the actors added freshness and made many scenes even more enjoyable.

I’m very happy with the response to the teaser and the songs, and it’s encouraging to see people connecting with the promotional material. But I genuinely feel we’ve only shown a small glimpse of the film. What will surprise audiences is the emotional depth beneath the entertainment. While there are plenty of fun moments, romance, and family drama, the story also carries a meaningful message about making your own choices while respecting the people who stand by you. The emotional transitions happen very naturally, and I think viewers will appreciate how the film balances laughter and heartfelt moments without compromising either. More than anything, I hope people feel that the character was genuine. As actors, we always want audiences to believe in the person we’re portraying rather than notice the performance itself. If viewers feel they travelled with this young man, laughed with him, understood his struggles, and celebrated his victories, I’ll consider that the biggest compliment.

Right now, my complete focus is on Nenu Ready because I truly believe audiences will enjoy what we’ve created. Beyond that, I’m listening to a variety of scripts and taking my time before making the next decision. I don’t want to repeat myself or choose projects just for the sake of staying busy.
