Kanha Tiger Reserve is one of the country’s largest national parks and is a revelation in more ways than one.
I recently spent close to a week in the jungles of Kanha and it was a trip that was memorable in more ways than one. I saw the jungle from different perspectives – a safari in the core zone, in the buffer zone as well as a drive in the reserve forest.
From seeing the tiger – my most easiest sighting to seeing birds, learning about plants and importantly how the barasingha species has been conserved, this was a trip that thrilled the nature lover in me.
Spread over a total area of 2,074.31 sq. km, the park is beautiful as well with grasslands, rolling meadows and more.
