Located just 800 meters from the iconic Assi Ghat, jüSTa Kashi Parampara is housed in an 80-year-old ancestral home, which has been transformed into a hotel for the first time. With its unique blend of heritage, design and tranquillity, the property offers a deeply immersive stay experience in the spiritual capital of India.
jüSTa Kashi Parampara, which was originally a two-storied bungalow, has been reimagined into 14 well-appointed rooms, including 2 elegant suites. The hotel is built around a central courtyard, evoking the warmth of a traditional Indian home. The interiors, rendered in soothing, earthy tones, create a sense of serenity that contrasts beautifully with the bustling atmosphere of Banaras outside its walls.
Traditional elements, including 100-year-old handcrafted wooden pillars, have been added to evoke the feeling of an old haveli, while ceilings remain high and natural materials have been used extensively. Sandstone jaali work, traditionally used in Rajasthani havelis, has been brought in from Jodhpur. The exterior is marked by simplicity; the interiors whisper calm – so that guests may feel centred, especially those on a wellness or spiritual journey.
The property serves only vegetarian food and guests will get to enjoy meals at the in-house multi-cuisine vegetarian restaurant, which offers both local and international fare.
