Since 2012, Windmills Craftworks has been a design-led space – where music, craft beer, global cuisine, and architecture converge in an intimate setting. Known for its immersive experiences across Bengaluru, India and Texas, USA, Windmills Craftworks celebrates savouring the present through sound, taste and shared moments. This weekend, that signature Jazz Theatre experience arrived in Hyderabad with a carefully curated evening headlined by the acclaimed Stéphane Wrembel Trio, who brought the soul of Gypsy Jazz from the outskirts of Paris to the heart of Hyderabad.
Stéphane Wrembel, inspired by Django Reinhardt’s Gypsy Jazz tradition, is celebrated worldwide for his distinctive sound – featured in films like Midnight in Paris and Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Joined by Josh Kaye on guitar and Ari Folman-Cohen on bass, the trio performed a set rich with colorful lyricism and the timelessness of Gypsy Jazz. The evening at Windmills Craftworks drew attendees completely into the music, setting the tone for vision as a music-first destination for discerning audiences.
Kamal Sagar, Founder of Windmills Craftworks, said, “At its heart, Windmills Craftworks honours music in its purest form – sounds that move you and stay with you. Launching in Hyderabad with the Stéphane Wremble Trio felt like the perfect expression of that belief. I’ve been a long-time admirer of their work, and seeing the city embrace this experience so wholeheartedly reaffirmed our conviction that great music and food deserve great spaces.”
