Modern men are increasingly opting for preventive self-care routines—incorporating daily grooming products and lifestyle changes long before visible signs of aging or hair loss escalate. This trend is driven by a desire for low-effort, non-clinical interventions that maintain a healthy, natural look without dramatic cosmetic results or risky procedures.

Men are more focused on to preventing their hair fall as well and are opting for treatments like mesotherapy, exosomes and growth factor PRPs to maintain their hair health, scalp health. They are also more inclined towards keeping their skin looking fresh and rejuvenated.

As more Indian men prioritize wellness, confidence and a natural aesthetic, there’s a clear shift toward subtle, preventive and natural-looking grooming solutions, especially in hair care and hair fall management. Recent consumer behavior shows that men are moving away from drastic measures toward treatments that are easy to adopt, non-invasive, and free from harsh chemicals.

Increasingly, men are seeking subtle, preventive, and natural-looking treatments rather than dramatic or obvious cosmetic procedures. In my experience and practice, I see many men visiting skincare and wellness clinics with a genuine interest in taking care of their skin, rather than pursuing quick fixes.
What stands out is their commitment to consistency. Men who decide to invest in their skincare regimen or treatment tend to be dedicated patients—they follow through with appointments, adhere to prescribed routines, and are willing to invest both time and effort for long-term results. While the overall ratio of men to women visiting clinics remains lower, those who do come in often become highly engaged and regular clients, whether for facials, preventive treatments, or other skin therapies.

When it comes to treatments for men, I usually recommend options that are easy to maintain and effective even with a busy schedule. The focus is on long-term results and preventive care, rather than drastic changes. For hydration and collagen support, treatments like skin boosters and Prophilo are highly effective they help firm the skin, improve texture, and restore youthful vitality. For pigmentation, brightening, or skin resurfacing, we use minimal downtime lasers such as Pico lasers, resurfacing lasers, or MNRF (Microneedle Radiofrequency) for improving scarring and skin texture. Even a few sessions can deliver noticeable results. There is social shift in embracing skin care by men as self-care not as vanity. It’s no longer seen as a women’s thing to do. There’s larger awareness of skin treatments. patients are more informed about evidence based practices towards aging so they’re starting early.
