Founder, Chairman & CEO, Aziro (formerly of MSys Technologies), Sanjay Sehgal says that this is a pivotal era in which India’s tech talent, innovative mindset, and cultural depth can shape how this empowerment unfolds globally. Some excerpts from a conversation:

Just like the Internet flattened the world by democratising access to information, and the Cloud connected it by enabling real-time collaboration and scalability, AI is now poised to empower the world by unlocking intelligence at every layer of life and business. From autonomous systems to decision intelligence, AI is enabling organizations and individuals to do more with less, faster, smarter, and more meaningfully.

The future of software product engineering lies in AI, cloud, and automation. India has positioned itself as a key player in shaping global tech markets, thanks to its talent pool and strong engineering foundations. As companies worldwide adopt AI and cloud-native architectures, India’s engineering prowess and cost-effective solutions are positioning the country as a global hub for product engineering services. Aziro is at the forefront of this revolution, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to help businesses scale and innovate efficiently.

The practice of Heartfulness meditation has helped me become more aware—of myself, of others, and of the world around me. It gently guides me to regulate my emotions and return to a space of calm, even as the pace of modern life continues to accelerate. In many ways, it has become my anchor—a quiet, steady presence amidst the rush of everyday demands.

Daaji, the global spiritual leader of the Heartfulness movement, always teaches about how meditating with the family can help us find balance and bond better with our dear ones. Following the same principle, my family and I do the same. My wife, Geeta, and I are both certified Heartfulness trainers, and every week, we host group meditation sessions at our home. It’s a family journey, our son Suraj is also now a facilitator. These shared practices not only deepen our family bond but also reinforce the value of inner peace and emotional well-being.

From all these influences, one lesson stands out to me above all: life is a continuous journey of learning. Mistakes and setbacks are inevitable, but they are also opportunities, each one carrying a lesson that can shape us for the better. What feels like a failure today often becomes the foundation for growth tomorrow. The key is to learn, evolve, and keep moving forward.
