Wasabi can be used in many unique ways- right from dips, pasta sauces and a various non-vegetarian fusion dish. Some delightful favourites include:
- Wasabi Toum Shawarma – This can be a flavour enhanced shawarma for food enthusiasts who don’t prefer the mild version of shawarma
- Wasabi soy fried rice
- Wasabi Crème Brule – A crème Brule with the caramelized sweetness of sugar along with minimum pungency of wasabi; makes for a superb sweet tooth delight in modern culinary, fine dining.
- Wasabi & Lime sorbet – This can be an amazing palette cleanser as its aftertaste is healing and fresh.
Make sure you use the pungent ingredient right.
Do’s:
- It can be excellent in terms of using it for grilled seafood.
- Meats, can be used in different spreads for burgers & sandwiches along with mayonnaise
- Can be used for making fusion cocktails, & fusion desserts.
Don’ts:
- Due to its pungent taste, wasabi is not recommended for use in breakfast dishes
- Wasabi is not recommended for people who have any blood disease, since it contains chemicals that may have anticancer effects and anti-inflammatory effects and may also slow blood clotting
