The project is green field project with the concept of Free plan with touch of Greens.
Being an architect, one must create a built environment that enhances life rather than just a shelter. The clients requested us to create a peaceful place for themselves. As a part of value addition, we have considered the context and given the green retreat with abundance of nature that draws parallel to Garden City of Bangalore.
The team blended the customized, hand crafted and Indian contemporary and few owned traditional furniture (Few owned by clients carried a sentimental values). The chandelier at double height space and spatially.
The passive design features (natural daylight, natural heating and cooling systems) of the project made it very much sustainable, along with active design features such as Rain water harvesting and Solar Power generation. On the West side very small or controlled windows along with deep overhangs for large openings on the Southern side. In addition, a variety of indoor plants, a rooftop garden and lush backyard will bring beauty of nature in living spaces, providing a tranquil and peaceful environment for the residents.
The team have opted and followed the design process at office such as concept design, schematic design, design development and working drawings and working details. They handhold the clients and contractors throughout the project cycle.
