Dr Santanu Paul is the Founding CEO and MD of TalentSprint, a global platform for deeptech education and high-end coding bootcamps, with investments from Nexus Venture Partners, the National Skill Development Corporation, and the National Stock Exchange Group.

Earlier served as Senior Vice President for Global Delivery Operations and Head of Indian Operations for Virtusa Corporation (NASDAQ IPO in 2007). Prior to that he was CTO at OpenPages and Co-Founder and CTO at Viveca Inc., both Boston-based tech firms, with investments from Matrix Partners and Sigma Partners.

Started as a Research Scientist at the famed IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, New York. Received a B.Tech from IIT Madras and a PhD from the University of Michigan in Computer Science.

Board stints, past and present, include the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), NSDL Payments Bank, Advait ARC, BNP Paribas Sharekhan, and Vivriti Capital. Inventor on multiple patents, contributing columnist and occasional podcaster.

Women Engineers (WE) innovative program not only imparts essential STEM knowledge but also nurtures young minds through interactive simulations, expert-led courses, and practical exercises. It is a foundational step toward bolstering STEM competency among future leaders in our nation’s innovation landscape.
They have also collaborated with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in India that has resulted in the Full Stack Development program. With over 30,000 beneficiaries already, this initiative has paved secure entry paths into the IT industry, aligning with NSDC’s goal of fostering skill development. “Such partnerships are integral to our commitment to empowering individuals and contributing significantly to the nation’s skilled workforce. TalentSprint faces several ongoing challenges in its pursuit of providing high-quality learning experiences to the learners.
