Jharna Sattanathan is building Chennai’s offline community through the game of Mahjong. Her global journey began in 2000 when she moved to New York to study Business at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). After graduating, she spent nearly seven years working in the fashion and luxury industry in the United States, gaining valuable international exposure and a deep understanding of global luxury brands and consumer culture.
At The Table, a new members only Mahjong studio founded by Mahjong enthusiast and author Jharna Sattanathan, is open in Chennai.
Designed as a dedicated space for playing, learning and socialising, At The Table brings together Mahjong enthusiasts and newcomers through daily play sessions, classes, curated mixers and private gatherings. The studio also features a coffee kiosk by café partner KUP, offering beverages and light bites.
