It perfectly captures the jungle atmosphere and is rich in local folklore and history, while offering luxurious hospitality. The stunning venue and immaculate resort provide an unmatched delightful holiday experience. Built using unique traditional construction methods paired with contemporary technology and a well-thought-out layout, the attention to detail in all aspects makes the resort a warm and exceptional abode to observe wildlife in its natural habitat.
Historically the massive Ranthambore Fort was considered invincible. The Aamaghati Wildlife Resort tries to preserve and recreate the local history so that guests can enjoy an ambience that reflects both the jungle as well as the fort. For instance, the Chauhan kings of Ranthambore stored rations and liquor for the Rajput forces within the fort so that the soldiers always had enough food and drink and were battle-ready. The liquor cellars and granaries were called Johra Bohra and the garrison dined in the Badal Mahal. These are the names the Aamaghati resort has chosen for its own bar and dining hall so that it reflects the history and legends of the fort. Baradari, with beautiful views of the forest was where the King’s court and family dined and the resort’s main restaurant with its unbridled views of the forest is aptly named so. All through the resort, there is a recall reflecting age-old stories, culture and geography of this forest region.
