Bhoomija’s Jackfruit Festival Gears Up for its Sixth Edition this Weekend

A festival of music by children aptly called the Jackfruit festival presented by Bhoomija Trust, that hosts performing arts programmes is underway at Indian Music Experience Museum and MLR Convention Centre.

A music festival directed by classical vocalist and composer Shubha Mudgal, Bhoomija’s Jackfruit Festival will see an interesting line-up of concerts and workshops that will ensure you have a musical weekend.

The special inaugural concert on Friday will have students of Shristi Special Academy present compositions taught to them by eminent vocalist and actor M.D. Pallavi. “We are also delighted to be presenting new voices and young talent from different parts of the country in our special concert ‘Singing Into the Future 2.0’. Though they come from different states and are studying different forms of music, their innate talent and brilliance, burnished by the tireless efforts of their respective gurus, is sure to gladden the hearts of listeners,” says Shubha Mudgal, Festival Director. Singing Into The Future 2.0 is scheduled for Sunday evening, at 7:00 p.m. and is a show curated by Vid Shubha Mudgal and Pandit Aneesh Pradhan, featuring some prodigious young talent from across India.
