Often dubbed the Scotland of India, Coorg in Karnataka, is a getaway that will introduce you to the lovely Western Ghats.
A destination that I have visited many times, Coorg is a discovery on every journey. What I love the most personally is that the bird life here is nothing short of amazing. And I have spotted several lifers during my many trips here. The most recent one being the Nilgiris Wood Pigeon.
Another aspect that I always love about Coorg is its coffee – most of what I know about my favourite drink is what I have learnt from experts that have been kind enough to share their knowledge with me. So whether it is about the brewing methods, fermentation techniques or the bean to cup journey it has been exciting to know from the best.
And of course the wildlife of Coorg, home to the beautiful Nagarhole, with its stunning flora and fauna, what’s not to love?
