Its time to celebrate Ganesha, the God of auspicious beginnings as well as the God who loves food.

One of the most loved Gods Ganesha is everywhere – just look and you will find him. He is not just in the many temples around but also in cars. Which goes to show that Ganesha is one of the most loved Gods in Hindu culture.

Interestingly Ganesha loves food and modak is said to be his most favourite food. Here are some recipes that you can try on the festival to appease the God.
