Spread the love

Amrita Guha and Joya Nandurdikar of Delhi-based Untitled Design delve into stone in more
ways than one. They are trying to utilise stone to the fullest and are constantly experimenting
with new ways to use the material.

While each type of stone has its own maintenance routine, here are general maintenance tips for polished and rough stones:

  • On Polished Stone – Avoid water stains on stone, clean it regularly with wet and dry mopping technique.
  • On rough stone – Avoid wet mopping and clean it with dry mop.
Also, because natural stones are porous by nature, it’s a good idea to use a good quality sealer periodically.
-It is recommend to avoid uneven surface for chemical installations
-It is recommended to have strong base for wet installation
-It is recommended to have a sealer coating after the installation of rough stone to avoid stains
