Her unique insights into brand storytelling, leadership, and sustainability are what the most forward-thinking audiences crave today.
Tanya’s career has been a journey of evolution, each phase adding a new layer of learning that shaped her as an entrepreneur.
- 1997–2000 – Tantrak Tours & Travels: I began my career at my mother’s IATA-accredited travel agency. This was my first exposure to entrepreneurship, where I learned operations, customer service, and financial discipline.
- 2001 – Emirates Airways: I joined Emirates Airways in Mumbai, gaining exposure to diverse customers and learning how cultural nuance influences communication.
- 2002 – Graduation & XIC: After earning my degree in Psychology and Philosophy, I pursued a Diploma in PR & Communications at Xavier Institute of Communications while working at a leading PR agency.
- 2002 – Founding id8 Media Solutions: That same year, I founded id8 from my spare bedroom with two people. Growth came organically through referrals and reinvesting profits into the business.
- 2005 – Expanding into Marketing: We added marketing services to complement PR, creating a stronger value proposition.
- 2008 – Integrated Marketing & Co-Founder: id8 grew into a full-service integrated agency offering PR, digital, and brand consulting. I also brought in a co-founder to strengthen leadership.
- 2015 – Launching id8 Global (USA): With a strong foundation in India, we expanded into the U.S. to build cross-border opportunities.
- 2021 – Moving to the U.S.: To immerse myself in cultural nuances and strengthen id8 Global, I relocated to the U.S.
Today, id8 has grown from a boutique PR agency into a global integrated communications firm. What has never changed are their values: authenticity, sustainability, and readiness to evolve.
“We’re investing in AI, data-driven insights, and cross-cultural intelligence to stay future-ready. Personally, I aim to mentor and empower the next generation of women leaders, creating a ripple effect of progress. Ultimately, my vision is simple: to build platforms, stories, and solutions that inspire conscious growth for brands, for people, and for society,” she says.
