This year World Food Day 2023 will focus on the theme, ‘Water is Life, Water is Food. Leave No One Behind’.

This year’s theme focuses on the critical role of water as the foundation of food. And why this is important is the lack of access to clean and safe water for consumption is a reality that needs attention.

In a country like India, access to safe water is something that is still not available to all. This is especially true in rural areas where clean and potable water is an issue.

However the Government has initiated a slew of measures that is ensuring that this issue is corrected.
