A destination that has a mix of nature, wildlife, culture and heritage, Wayanad in Kerala is perfect for a getaway that ticks all the boxes.
On a recent visit to the city, I stayed at the newly opened Sterling Lontano Wayanad, that is located next to a dam which means that it is perfect for nature lovers like me. A pathway that hugs the property overlooks this beautiful water body and the two days I spent here, I made sure to keep my dates with the many birds here on my morning walks.
The resort also organised a special dinner when I was here with a unique setup in the gazebo like space complete with special lights and a lip smacking meal. I stayed in the beautiful Waterfront Suite with Balcony that had a fantastic view of the waterbody.
Stay at Sterling Lontano Wayanad, a new 21 key boutique property that has just opened. With the Karapuzha Dam as its backdrop, an infinity pool, chic-contemporary rooms and suites, this is all about being in harmony with nature. If you prefer to stay near the Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary, Sterling Wayanad is a good bet as it is located very close to the park.
