A recent visit to Mukteshwar for the fifth edition of art residency Chitrashaala, saw me stay at the beautiful  jüSTa Mukteshwar Retreat and Spa.

How many hotels can claim to offer a stunning view of the snow-capped Nandi Devi peaks of the Himalayan range. Well jüSTa Mukteshwar Retreat and Spa in Mukteshwar does just that. And the balcony of my room was the perfect viewing point for this mind blowing view.

The property has 32 rooms across two acres with three categories of rooms, a spa, an indoor swimming pool as well as a restaurant. The best part of staying here is the nature based activities – birding and treks that Ramesh the inhouse naturalist will take you on.

The inhouse Sansha spa is a great way to relax and have a holiday that is rejuvenating. The inhouse restaurant serves delectable continental and Indian fare.
