Terminal 2 (T2) is a tribute to the Garden City of Bengaluru and is inspired by four principles – terminal in a garden, sustainability, technology, art and culture.

The Art Programme at Terminal 2 of BLR Airport is an initiative to showcase art in a public space. Artworks that are inspired by the theme of Naurasa, mentioned in Bharata’s Natyashastra, and which reflect the culture of Karnataka and India are displayed at the terminal.

The artworks have been chosen by an open call that saw a spirited response and there are 60 artworks by 43 artworks that are on display across the domestic and international terminals.

Interestingly there are all kinds of forms from painting to sculpture to digital work that you can see. In fact you can use the wayfinding feature on BLR Pulse app to locate artworks as you walk through the terminal.
