Bhitarkanika National Park is a gem in Odisha that is not just known for a successful salt water crocodile program, but is also a birder’s paradise.
When I was invited by Antara Cruises to experience Bhitarkanika National Park, I must admit that I had not even heard of the place.
However when I reached the Gupti jetty after a close to hour drive from Bubaneshwar airport, I realised that this was a place unlike no other.
Over teh course of two days on the catamaran, I discovered a whole new world and a couple of lifers in terms of the birds I saw.
