Ladakhi cuisine is a magnetic fusion of Tibetan, Indian, and Central Asian flavors, and each dish symbolizes a story of tradition, resilience, and adaptability in this terrain. From hearty stews and soups to delicious dumplings and aromatic teas, Ladakhi cuisine reflects the true diversity of the region and culture.

Chef Nilza Wangmo, the custodian of Ladakhi food and owner of the all-women’s restaurant Alchi Kitchen in Ladakh, has had the honor of serving Ladakhi cuisine to dignitaries, food enthusiasts, and travelers in the region.

“We are excited to partner with Chef Nilza Wangmo for this wonderful celebration of Ladakhi cuisine. It will be a unique experience of Ladakh’s vibrant culinary landscape,” says Baseer Ahmed, Executive Sous Chef at THE Park Bangalore. Thanks to THE Park Bangalore I was able to experience the cuisine and its intricacies first hand through this curated pop up.
