Chef Uwe Micheel is a culinary genius whose experience of nearly three decades shines through in every dish he makes.
Chef Uwe Micheel is Assistant Vice President Worldchefs 2016, President Emirates Culinary Guild, Culinary Director Radisson Blu Dubai Deira Creek, International Judge level A.
Born in Celle, a small village in North Germany, that had about 150 inhabitants Micheel literally grew up on a farm (his father is a farmer). He moved to Dubai in January 1993 and is currently Director of Kitchens at Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Deira Creek.
As someone who is largely credited with putting the UAE on the culinary map of the world, he credits his team. Called the ‘Father of Chefs’ he admits he is proud of that as it shows a recognition and respect of the team he has worked with.
