Sabudana khichdi, a light and satisfying blend of tapioca pearls and peanuts, is a timeless classic and everyone’s favourite.  Each festivity comes with its own traditional sweet, nourishing taste of vrat-friendly desserts made from coconut and jaggery.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sabudana
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • 1/4 cup ghee
  • Salt, to taste
  • Chopped cilantro, for garnish

Method

  • Soak Sabudana overnight.
  • Boil and drain.
  • Heat ghee, roast peanuts.
  • Mix Sabudana, peanuts, salt.
  • Garnish with cilantro.
