India’s fastest runner and Asia’s fourth fastest runner, Nayana Kokare was discovered by Bridges of Sports Foundation.

Bridges of Sports Foundation is an NGO working towards developing India’s fastest sprinters through hyperlocal focus in few of the remotest communities of India. Their journey and model has been validated by the recent success of one of their first athletes Nayana Kokare who represented India at Asian games in South Korea in June 2023.

She is the fastest Indian and has clocked the fourth fastest time in Asia and first without a tail wind – putting her in great contention of winning a medal for India at the Asian Games in South Korea on June 2023.

Her story is one that is inspiring as just three years ago was running barefoot in her village when Bridges of Sports Foundation identified her. She has been developed and nurtured in these three years by Bridges of Sports Foundation and few of the best international coaches (who have trained athletes winning more than 30 Olympic medals).

The team believes that India has the talent – if the right people work in developing them and then can easily compete with best in the world.
