A female racer who at 23 has several milestones to her credit, Prarthana Murugavel is changing the motorsports scene one accolade at a time.
● Secured Gold (1st prize) in the Women’s Karting Slalom category at the Asia Pacific Motorsport Championship 2023, representing India.
● Became the first Indian woman to win Gold (1st prize) in the Karting Slalom Category and first Indian woman to win Gold (1st Prize) at an international/multinational motorsports event.
● Competed in the Meco FMSCI National Karting Championship, 2023. Completed 5 out of 5 rounds standing 13th in the championship amongst 31 competitors.(only girl to take part)
● Recognized as the Most Promising Female Racer at the JK Tyre FMSCI National Car Racing Championship 2022.
● Achieved the fourth position in the Driver Development Program conducted by Momentum Motorsports in 2022.
● Awarded the Best Rookie trophy at the MRF MMSC FMSCI National Car Racing Championship (Round 2) in 2021.
● Attained the second position in the Talent Hunt organised by Ahura Racing, an all-women’s racing team, in 2021.
