Being an unusual No Rules Playground’ for food experiences in the city, The Conservatory is a space for all things food with interesting twists.

Bangalore has been the contemporary cultural capital of India for sometime now. Geographically suited to be this melting pot for Indians and contemporary ideas, companies. technology and more. This has probably given rise to Bangalore’s ‘cultural person’. Eager to explore, try, be curious and willing to pay well for it.

They have tried to create a ‘No Rules Play Ground’ for food experiences in the city. This cultural person we soon realized was also tremendously ‘food curious’.  Chefs and makers were looking for new ways to express themselves. Buoyed by the pandemic, to find deeper purposes to our endeavours (chefs) and experiences (diners) the Conservatory embodied this convergence.

Hence envisioned food events that urges one to step out ones comfort zone. They often tell the chefs to not worry about a ‘failure’ of a meal. The aim is to make sure it pushed some boundaries and made it interesting for both chef and audience. Finally, this shared experience is fertile ground for communities to build around food and food matters.
