A 16 year old who is making a difference in the lives of the not so privileged to help them write Vidhi Golchha is changing lives one story at a time.
“I would like to highlight the invaluable support of Miss Zeena and Miss Brinda from Global Concerns India and share some feedback I received about the kit: Sabhyata Ranjan, a social worker at CSJ and a graduate of TISS, described CleverBox as “a complete package to stimulate your brain and think creatively.” She emphasized that “creative writing has always been an integral component in the promotion and management of positive mental and emotional health,” noting how the kit’s clear instructions empower children to build stories from their unique perspectives.”
Similarly, Sunith Pradhan, a TISS graduate with a master’s in social work and counselling, remarked that CleverBox “will definitely help them in the real world” and highlighted how the activities allow children to “experience the shift in their emotions from positive to negative.” “I would also relay my efforts to explore literature in every way possible by volunteering at the Bangalore Literature Festival and writing a research paper that explores the impact of reading on empathy, stress reduction, and narrative transportation. This work was recognized for its academic merit, leading to my selection to present at the Curiosity Conference hosted by IIT Gandhinagar in January 2025.”
