As he continues to make Indian cuisine proud on a global stage, Chef Himanshu Saini’s Tresind Studio has also created history as the first Indian restaurant to win three Michelin Stars.

Indian food has evolved over centuries, driven by necessity and migration, with its delicious influences evident in Malaysia, Trinidad, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Japan, and many other countries. “Now, with our Rising India menu, we aim to express a modern vision of Indian cuisine that transcends regional borders while respecting its rich heritage. This approach encourages us to incorporate non-native ingredients—like tortellini, Gorgonzola, or kushiyaki—into dishes that still honor Indian flavors and techniques,” he says.

Rising India is more than a menu; it’s a movement. “It’s our statement of intent to push Indian cuisine forward through innovation, global dialogue, and a steadfast commitment to excellence. We believe Indian food can stand proudly among the world’s finest and are determined to help lead that charge. We built this menu to tribute India, which is bold, confident, and unafraid to reimagine its traditions. Every course represents a chapter—from the streets of Old Delhi to the spice-laden kitchens of the South to the innovation-led spirit of cities like Bengaluru and Mumbai. It’s a progression, both in flavor and philosophy. The idea was never to modernize Indian food solely for aesthetic purposes. It was to reflect how India is evolving—holding onto its roots while fearlessly rewriting its future. We wanted our guests to feel like they’re moving through time, geography, and emotion, all within the span of a dinner,” he adds.

Overall, Rising India is about celebrating that complexity and presenting an experience with clarity, respect, and imagination.
