Ace chef Vikas Khanna is opening his newest restaurant, Bungalow in March 2024 in New York as an ode to his sister.
I first met Chef Vikas Khanna when he came to Bengaluru many years ago to launch one of his cook books. The first thing I noticed was his easy going demeanour and charming personality. Someone who despite his fame, showed no signs of carrying any remote baggage associated with it.
I remember our conversation went on for well over 45 minutes and as a person who is so warm and amiable, it has been a memory that has remained ingrained in my mind.
Today I wrote a small story on Chef and somehow all the memories from a conversation I had with him close to eight years ago came rushing back.
