New mothers are usually always looking for answers when it comes to their children – as well as their nutrition. Here is a guide

Mother

  1. Mixed veg upma + ground nut chutney + soaked almonds (breakfast)
  2. Mixed Veg pulao + raita + egg curry(lunch )
  3. Dates sesame balls (snacks)
  4. Beetroot stuffed chapati + mixed veg curry (dinner) + salad
  5. Buttermilk (bed time)

Children
Breakfast – mixed veg chicken sandwich + milk
Lunch – vegetable rice ( peas, carrot) + chicken curry + raita ( cucumber + carrot )
Snack – mixed fruit salad
Dinner – chapati + chicken curry + smoothie

Benefits
It is rich in high fibre and protein, which is good for digestion and almonds containing good sources of omega 3 fatty acid and antioxidants.
Again egg has vitamin D which helps in bone health, egg has folate which helps in congenital disabilities like spina bifida (pregnant mother).
